Simeon Eben Baldwin was a college professor who wrote extensively on the law, including early aviation law. He also was governor of Connecticut from 1911-1915. This 7/8 inch celluloid with Whitehead and Hoag back paper is a campaign pin that helped put him in the governor’s mansion. Excellent condition.
