Richard Nixon was elected U.S. senator in 1950, famously depicting opponent Helen Gahagan Douglas as the “pink lady.” Nixon first picked up the nickname “Tricky Dick” in this election. This poster picturing Senator Nixon is a 40 by 53 inch poster with some minor creases. Printed by the New York Republican State Committee, most likely in 1952 when Nixon was running for vice president.
