A pamphlet printed in 1877 that defends Samuel Tilden for his role in the most controversial presidential election in history. This 24-page booklet is a 5 by 6 1/2 inch and is loose on the binding. It has “Compliments of Manton Marble” written on the front. Marble was a New York Journalist and editor of the New York World.
