A rare and iconic pin made to support the Scottsboro Boys in what became one of the most famous civil rights related cases in U.S. history. Nine black teens were charged with rape in Alabama in 1931 and their legal travails became internationally famous. This 7/8 inch celluloid features great design and carries the initials of the communist International Labor Defense (ILD), which helped fund the legal battle. Eagle Regalia back paper, excellent condition.
