The much harder to find red letter version of the Roosevelt-Lausche Ohio coattail pin from 1944. Lausche was a moderate Democrat, sometimes called the “Democrat with the small d” or “Frank the Fence.” He was a minor league baseball player before becoming mayor of Cleveland, governor of Ohio and a U.S. senator. This 2 1/8 inch celluloid is in excellent condition.
