It was the end of one legendary career and the early years of another one. This 1944 celluloid pictures Franklin Roosevelt, who was just a year away from his death, and Cleveland Mayor Frank Lausche, who was on his way to being elected for the first time as Ohio governor. Lausche, the state’s first Catholic governor, went on to serve five terms as governor and two as a U.S. senator. This 2 1/8 inch celluloid is the version with black lettering, excellent condition.
