What a beauty! This pin combines an iconic image and bright colors to create a spectacular Theodore Roosevelt item. This is the 2 1/8 inch version of the Theodore Roosevelt and Charles Fairbanks Lady Liberty pin. The image of “Miss Columbia” became famous after former slave Phyllis Wheatley composed a poem during the Revolution that she sent to George Washington. She’s been a symbol of the U.S. ever since. Excellent condition.
