Reagan and Baker Balanced Team

Ronald Reagan and Tennessee’s Howard Baker are pictured as a team on this pin from the 1980 Republican National Convention in Detroit. The 2 1/2 inch celluloid suggests a ticket of Reagan and Baker. The No. 2 job went to George H.W. Bush, but Baker was later called on by Reagan to be White House chief of staff. Excellent condition. A tough pin from the Scott Colburn collection.
