The New England Woman Suffrage Festival held in Boston was one of the most amazing events of the suffrage movement. This advertisement for the festival lists the speakers, who read like a Suffrage Hall of Fame. Included are speakers from England and Finland as well Lucy Stone, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Clara Barton, Frederick Douglass, William Lloyd Garrison and many others. What a group and what an item! An exceptionally rare 5 1/4 by 9 1/4 inch item with some light creases, small cut at bottom. First one like we’ve ever seen. An important historic document.
