A scarce size National Recovery Act pin with a great back story. This 3 1/2 inch celluloid is an NRA “We Do Our Part” pin that says, “I Eat Kleen-Maid Bread.” You know that saying about best thing since sliced bread? Well, these were the guys who first sold it! Kleen-Maid Bread was the first sliced bread sold in the U.S., in Chillicothe, Mo., on July 7, 1928. That makes this the best NRA pin since ... well, you know. A Great Depression era item in excellent condition.
