Rare Lyndon Johnson for US Senate, Franklin Roosevelt coattail from 1941 when Johnson ran against W. Lee “Pappy” O’Daniel for the Democratic nomination for senator in Texas. Johnson initially looked to have won by close to 5,000 votes, but a recount gave the election to O’Daniel. This 7/8 inch litho pin is a real gem – the is the only one we’ve had in the last years. Has some condition problems, but that is the case with all these pins we have seen and this one is very presentable.
