That odd shape at the bottom of this rare 9 ¼ inch ribbon was Congressman William McKinley’s district after it was gerrymandered. Young McKinley lost his seat in 1882 after the change, but won it back in 1884. This ribbon urges Ohio voters to support him in spite of the change. Fraying along edges, thin areas at top. The only other time we offered this ribbon it sold for more than $1,000.
