Marcus Hanna was the power behind William McKinley’s rise to the top and was a U.S. senator who had his eye on the White House for himself as well. Hanna was a wealthy industrialist who went to high school with John D. Rockefeller and who instrumental in getting fellow Ohioan McKinley elected president. This Salem, Ohio, 9 1/4 inch ribbon with pin at top is a beautiful Hanna Club item, excellent condition.
