Medal of Honor Winner Richmond Hobson 1 1/4 inch celluloid from Spanish-American War. Hobson volunteered for a dangerous mission, was captured and then became a nationwide hero when the newspapers of the day printed his story. After returning home, he went on a speaking tour and was a celebrity who became known as the "most kissed man in America." Later became a congressman and rear admiral. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid is stained, but it is a rare pin that seldom shows up.
