This 6-inch backstage guest pass promoting a Jimmy Carter benefit concert on July 10, 1976, is a scarce item. What makes it even more amazing is that the pass was in Lynyrd Skynyrd guitar tech Craig Reed’s briefcase that was on the plane that crashed on Oct. 20, 1977, resulting in the death of Ronnie Van Zant and five others. Reed survived the crash. The pass comes with a COA signed by Reed detailing his history with the band. Crease at center.
