On April 13, 2000, George W. Bush met in Austin, Texas, with 12 gay Republicans who became known as the Austin 12. Bush was the first potential GOP nominee to meet publicly with representatives of the gay community. He emerged from that meeting to declare that he was a better person for it and promised to include gays in his administration. Log Cabin Republicans issued this 2 1/4 inch celluloid, which is a rare and historic item in excellent condition.
