Franklin Roosevelt is pictured as “Our Veldt Rose” on this scarce little celluloid campaign pin. It features a bright, red rose and points to FDR’s Dutch ancestry – his family came to New Amsterdam in the 17th century. The 7/8 inch celluloid with Whitehead and Hoag back paper sold for $1,390 in Auction 154, the last time we saw one. Excellent.
