A young Harry Truman is pictured on this 7/8 inch celluloid from early in his political career. Truman was elected Jackson County Eastern District court judge in 1922. He lost his campaign for re-election in 1924 and sold automobile club memberships for two years before making a political comeback, winning the Jackson County Presiding Judge seat in 1926, setting him on a path that eventually led to the White House. This rare Truman pin is a classic item in excellent condition.
