John W. Davis is pictured with Sen. Augustus Owsley Stanley on this Kentucky coattail pin. Stanley served as congressman, governor and senator and became famous for his calls for antitrust action against the American Tobacco Company and US Steel. He also was a staunch opponent of Prohibition. This 7/8 inch celluloid with Whitehead and Hoag back paper has some spots. This pin has brought over $300 at least six times in last eleven years.
