Iowa always makes a big splash as the first stop on the primary election. In 1980, George Bush actually edged out Ronald Reagan in the Iowa caucus. After that, Reagan took over and went on to win the presidency, including carrying Iowa in the general election. This scarce 3 inch plastic pinback was made for Reagan’s supporters in Iowa. Excellent condition. Only other time in last eleven years, Auction #186 and sold for $129.
