A rare sample pin made by Emress Specialty Co.’s Manny Ress. This bright orange, 3 1/2 inch celluloid is from 1964. It’s an intriguing New York item supporting Kenneth Keating in his campaign against Robert Kennedy and interestingly enough, Richard Nixon. The idea apparently was that Nixon might run for president in 1964. He didn’t. That makes this a really hard pin to find. Excellent condition.
