A scarce and really different Harry Truman related pin from Inauguration Day in 1949.This 1 inch celluloid pictures an elk with the BPOE initials of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and the date Jan. 20, 1949 at the bottom. It also says Civil Rights Day and Truman used his inaugural address to call for human rights around the world. Pin has a Western Badge of Los Angeles back paper, excellent condition.
