George Counts was president of the American Federation of Teachers and a state chairman for the New York Liberal Party. In 1952, he also was the Liberal Party candidate for the U.S. Senate in New York. This very scarce Adlai Stevenson coattail pin includes Counts. It’s a 7/8 inch celluloid with some spots. The only other example we've offered sold for $784 but was in excellent condition. Consignor lowered minimum bid to less than 1/6 of its high bid.
