Kentucky’s Alben Barkley was a politician’s politician, serving for many years in the U.S. Senate and serving as Harry Truman’s vice president. Barkley went back the Senate after being vice president and died with his boots on, so to speak, while giving a political speech. This rare 7/8 inch celluloid dates from the 1948 campaign.
