It didn’t take long for Americans to miss their cocktails. This rare 1920 campaign pin already shows q longing for alcoholic beverages made illegal by Prohibition, which took effect just a little more than a year before the 1920 election. “Cox and Cocktails” backed James M. Cox for president and the return of a good drink for everyone else. It’s a hard to find 7/8 inch celluloid with Whitehead and Hoag back paper, excellent condition.
