Joe Smith V for Victory, Anti Nixon Celluloid

Joe Smith takes some explaining. He was the invention of an anti-Nixon faction in the 1950s who wanted Nixon thrown off the GOP ticket. When asked who would replace Nixon, they would say “Joe Smith,” meaning anyone would do. That them was picked up by Democrats and appeared on campaign pins. This is a very scarce 2 1/8 inch celluloid with the Joe Smith theme. Excellent condition.
