The sunflower was the state flower of Kansas and also the campaign symbol for presidential candidate Alf Landon, governor of Kansas. Sunflowers weren’t enough for the owner of this scarce campaign pin. It’s a celluloid with 1 3/4 inch felt sunflower that says, “Lose With Landon. We Can’t Eat Sunflowers.” Excellent.
