West Virginia Republicans were all about sunflowers in 1936 when they met for their state convention. The sunflower was the symbol for presidential candidate Alf Landon and it shows up here on a pin made for the West Virginia meeting. It’s a 2 1/8 inch celluloid from the Aug. 13, 1936 convention held in Huntington. Small edge spots.
