July 23, 1936 was a big day in Topeka, Kansas. It was notification day when Alf Landon was officially notified he had been nominated for president by the Republican Party. This celluloid pin and felt sunflower combination is a 2 1/2 inch item with Trapp Novelty Co. sticker on back made especially for the occasion. Excellent condition.
