Very unusual celluloid and ribbon from 1900. The 1 3/4 inch pin with Baltimore Badge back paper pictures two modern warships. The ribbon says, "USS Kearsage and USS Alabama Celebration, Portsmouth, N.H., Sept. 17-20, 1900." The original Kearsage and Alabama were Union and Confederate ships that fought a famous battle off the coast of France during the Civil War. Excellent condition.
