Mark Curtis was an Iowa labor leader and member of the Socialist Workers Party who was charged with assaulting a 15-year-old girl in 1988. The SWP claimed Curtis had been framed by the police. This 2 1/4 inch celluloid was part of the effort to get him freed. Curtis eventually was convicted and was paroled after serving eight years in prison.
