John F. Kennedy welcomed Tunisia President Habib Bourguiba to the White House on May 4. 1961. Bourguiba, called the architect of Tunisian independence and sometimes even “Hannibal’s Successor,” was the ruler of Tunisia from 1957-1987. This rare 1 5/8 inch litho pictures the two men with Arabic writing at top. Excellent.
