An early Jimmy Carter for governor of Georgia campaign poster. This 14 by 22 inch cardboard poster is from 1966, Carter’s first unsuccessful attempt to be elected governor. Carter finished third in the Democratic primary for governor that year. Lester Maddox eventually was elected governor. Excellent condition.
