Jeannette Rankin was the first woman elected to Congress. She also was the only person to vote against entering World War I and World War I. She served just two terms -- she lost her seat after voting against World War I, returned years later to Congress and lost her seat after voting against World War II. This 1 inch celluloid with Whitehead and Hoag back paper is from the second time around. Great item for a woman with a special place in history, excellent condition.
