Most observers say James M. Cox was a better newspaperman and a better politician than Warren Harding. But when Americans went to the polls in 1920, the overwhelmingly chose Harding. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid is from Cox’s 1920 campaign. After his loss in that campaign, Cox went back to private life where he built to giant Cox media empire. This rare Cox pin is in excellent condition and is a great item featuring one of the most elusive 20th century candidate for collectors.
