John F. Kennedy was the nation’s most famous P.T. boat veteran. In November of 1946, the P.T. Veterans Association held its first reunion in Boston, JFK’s hometown. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid is from that reunion. It has and edge scuff at 6 and 12 o’clock. The reunion was held Nov. 16-17, just a few days after Kennedy won the Congressioinal election that began his political career. We do not recall ever seeing this pin before.
