Anderson Auction 199
A pair of glass and brass bridal rosettes picturing Benjamin Harrison and Levi Morton. Each one is 1 1/2 inch and they are mounted in a clear, acrylic base but can easily be removed from the base. Some light scratches on glass surface. Bridal rosettes were used to help position the bridle on a horse’s head, and so in the pre-automobile days were a good place to picture a presidential candidate like Harrison.
