This U.S. Grant ferrotype from 1868 is about in as good of shape as any we’ve ever seen. It’s a beautiful 1 1/16 inch item picturing Grant on one side and running mate Schuyler Colfax on the other side. Listed as USG 1868-61 in Sullivan’s book on political medals. A real beauty.
