This badge and ribbon is from James M. Cox’s inauguration as governor of Ohio in 1917. It was a big event for Cox: he won the 1914 election for governor, then lost in a close election to Frank Willis in 1914. Two years later he beat Willis by less than 1% and this state central committee badge and ribbon helped him celebrate his victory. It’s a 6 1/8 inch item in excellent condition.
