August Gillhaus and Donald Munro made up the ticket for the Socialist Labor Party in 1908. This rare 1 1/4 inch celluloid with St. Louis Button Co. back paper pictures our two socialists. Originally, Morrie Preston, a Nevada miner and IWW members, was the SLP candidate for president but since he was serving a 25-year sentence for murder, the SLP decided to go with Gillhaus instead. Excellent condition. Minimum bid lowered.
