This rare celluloid pictures a run-down donkey and dejected rider. The ’32 Clubs at bottom identifies it as a 1932 item. It is reminding voters of the last election, when the Democrats were beaten, and what happened in 1929 – the Stock Market crash and start of the Great Depression. Voters who remembered were likely to vote for Franklin Roosevelt and other Democrats in 1932. This rare 1 1/2 inch celluloid has a Western Badge of St. Paul, Minn., back paper, excellent condition.
