A scarce jewelry lapel pin from 1956. This 1 1/2 inch clutchback pin says “Flo” and “Ike” on the front. We all know who Ike was. Flo was New Jersey congresswoman Flo Dwyer, first elected in 1956. She served until 1973 and was a leading advocate for women’s rights including serving as the sponsor of the Equal Pay Act. Excellent.
