Herman Ferguson was a Malcolm X disciple who ran for the U.S. Senate in New York in 1968. Ferguson advocated armed revolution and was convicted of conspiring to kill Roy Wilkins and Whitney Young. He went into exile in Guyana in 1970 where he stayed for 19 years before returning to New York. This scarce 1 1/4 inch celluloid is in excellent condition. Anderson collection.
