Roger Staubach was a true American hero, first leading the Navy football team, then becoming the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. A staunch conservative, Staubach’s football background made him a natural possible Republican candidate in Texas. This 1 1/2 inch celluloid urged him to run for the Senate. He didn’t, but it’s still a rare pin. Excellent.
