If you look on the state seal of Maine, you’ll see a pine tree and the word “Dirigo,” which means “I Lead.” This rare suffrage pin from Maine shows residents of that state were willing to lead to fight for women’s right to vote. It’s a beautiful 7/8 inch celluloid with Boston Badge back paper in excellent condition.
