Jacob Coxey became famous when he led what is considered the first giant protest march on Washington, D.C. “Coxey’s Army” invaded Washington in 1894 and ended when its leaders were thrown in jail for walking on the grass. Coxey led another march on Washington in 1914. This 1 inch celluloid clipback pictures Coxey behind bars. This is a classic cause item and consignor lowered minimum bid. Excellent condition.
