Frank Knox was a Rough Rider, publisher of the Chicago Daily News and Secretary of the Navy during World War II. He also was the Republican vice presidential candidate in 1936, which is when this pin was made. It’s a rare 2 1/4 inch celluloid made for members of the press who took part in Knox’s campaign tour. Excellent condition.
