Charles Evers was the brother of famous civil rights martyr Medgar Evers. Charles made history himself when in 1969 he was elected mayor of Fayette, Miss., the first post-Reconstruction black mayor in the state. He later ran for Congress, Senate, governor. This 14 by 17 inch poster is from one of his races. Excellent condition.
