Charles White was an Illinois labor leader, politician and what we would call today a whistleblower. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid made by the Parisian Novelty Co. is in excellent condition. White was the central figure in exposing what he called the "jackpot exposure" in the Illinois Legislature. In 1909, the Chicago Tribune paid White to have his story printed in the paper. It turned out to be the end of his political career. Minimum bid lowered.
