The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees printed this poster to remind New York City voters how Ronald Reagan felt about the city. It shows the Gipper booting a big apple and includes a 1975 Reagan quote about the federal government not bailing out the city. This 12 1/2 by 17 inch poster with some great cartoon artwork was made for the 1980 election and backed Jimmy Carter, Walter Mondale and U.S. Senate candidate from New York Elizabeth Holtzman. Excellent condition. We had never seen this poster before, let alone auctioned one previously.
